The Design Process
We follow a simple process from concept through to print to deliver the finished product: Complimentary Consultation It is important for us to meet with you, our clients, so that we can get to know you and you can get to know us. It also allows us the opportunity to show you real samples of work we have done, nothing beats holding a leaflet or brochure in your hand, to see the quality and finish of our designs. It also gives us the chance to ask questions about your business, your target market and your aims and objectives, so that when we come to creating your designs, we are armed with all the information we need to create a bespoke, targeted design. which in turn will enable us to create consultation with the client means we can answer any questions about the design process and we can clarify the exact requirements for both parties. Brief Following a consultation we will put together a brief for the project, to clarify the exact requirements for both parties. This is usually combined with a full written quotation...
Quotation
A written quotation will include all elements of the design process, broken down into relevant parts: design, photography, copywriting, proofreading, print etc. We offer fixed price quotations so you know what you will have to pay from the start and there won't be any surprises when you receive your invoice.
Concepts
Once the brief and costs have been agreed we can get started on creating your design concepts. Depending on the job often 2-4 concept ideas will be presented for your consideration. These concepts are often presented in person, as it helps us to see your initial reaction to the designs. Once we get to you know you and have established a style/brand for you, we may supply designs via email in PDF format, to speed up the process.
Development
Often clients like elements from different concepts, so we will spend time editing and developing the designs, trying different colours or fonts until we have perfected the design and you are happy and we have a finished concept.
Approval
We ask that the final design is signed off and print requirement confirmed before going to press.
Print Production
We liaise with the relevant printer for the job and deliver the finished product to you.
