FAQs

Is there any parking?

There is no dedicated parking, but there is FREE on street parking. The Coach House is on a residential street and there are no parking restrictions.

Do I have to sign a lease?

No, you don’t have to sign a lease, but we do have a short desk license which we will ask you to read and sign.

We ask that you initially sign a 1 month license. After the first month the license automatically goes to a rolling monthly contract.

The license states you must give 1 month’s notice, if you wish to vacate your desk.

Do I have my own private office?

No, The Coach House is an open plan studio space, so you have a dedicated desk in the studio area. There are 4 desks upstairs and 4 desks downstairs. The desk is yours alone, so you can keep your own items and paperwork on your desk.

There is also a communal meeting/breakout area upstairs, so if you have clients/customers visiting you can sit around a table.

What are the office hours?

There are no set opening hours. You are given a full set of keys to access the building, and have access 24/7, so you can work evenings and weekends if you wish.

Is the building secure?

The building has a full alarm system and an internal, steel, roller shutter door. The building is insured, but you will need to insure your own personal belongings that you keep at the premises.

If you have confidential information you need to keep secure, we suggest you bring your own lockable cabinet.

Can I bring my own desk/shelves/cabinet?

A desk and chair is provided. We also have some shelving available for each desk, however, some tenants bring their own shelves/lockable filing cabinets/drawers, as there is some space around desks to accommodate these items.

Can I rent a desk on an ad-hoc basis?

We don’t offer ‘hot desks’ at an hourly or day rate.

However, if you needed a desk for a short, specified, period of time i.e. two weeks or 1 month, we’d be happy to accommodate you if there are desks available.
